Theraplay (c) Informed services.

Each of our child therapists have a. minimum of  LEVEL 1 Theraplay (c) training. Professionals around the world have been trained in Theraplay and are using Theraplay in a wide variety of settings and populations, including: Attachment therapy for foster/adopted children, Therapy for trauma and abuse victims, Therapy for children with behavioral and developmental problems, and Group settings such as schools and residential treatment facilities. We believe that understanding how a child relates to their caregiver under specific domains helps in the therapeutic parent/ child process.

SMART

Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART) is designed to treat the consequences of adverse childhood experiences, which we now understand as Developmental Trauma. We believe children’s natural tendency is toward adaptation, healing, and growth, to unlock this potential, and as such our method focuses on somatic regulation, trauma processing, and attachment-building through collaborative relationships. We integrate SMART activities into our child therapy sessions.
